I know, impossibly brilliant, right?

But let’s be brutally honest here, there may not be a better time.  Every sign seems to indicate we are headed into a new era, and everyone is asking, “What will be the new normal?”.  And I want to be there to help define it and improve everything I can get my hands on.

A little about me.  I received my BFA in Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology.  However, I didn’t have a typical I.D. mindset, so after two years at GE I went and earned my Masters in Design degree from the University of the Arts, where I focused on design research and strategy.  While at UArts I was fortunate to study at The Wharton School of Business for a semester, working directly with MBA students and spend another semester in Stuttgart, Germany at the Akademie of Arts’ graduate program.  Since graduate school I’ve worked on medical products, food service products, audio/visual products, and consumer products and for companies such as Starbucks, Anheuser-Busch, McDonald’s and HermanMiller.

I am an innovator, a problem solver, plain and simple.  I like solving problems through research and design, and am not too particular what market I work in.  If I had to chose I really like enjoy the high pressure projects found in the medical industry.

What am I going to do with this blog?  Well, every week I’m hoping share my insights into innovation, my techniques, thoughts  and inspirations and hear from other innovators.  There’s quite a few innovation blogs out there, and I hope mine can gain its fair share of attention and contribute to the innovation community.

So welcome aboard, it should be a fun ride.
